About our pool covers service
Solar blankets (bubble covers) are the everyday option — a 500-micron thermal blanket cuts evaporation by up to 95% and raises pool temp by 5–8°C in summer. Paired with a roller they take 30 seconds to on and off.
We custom-cut every blanket to fit your pool shape — round-nose skimmers, cutouts for handrails, offset shapes, no problem. Standard PVC rollers and premium stainless rollers both available.
For families with young children we also install compliant safety covers — heavy-duty mesh or solid, anchored to the deck, rated to walk across.
Our go-to brand is Daisy — Australian-made covers and rollers with UV-stabilised bubble material and a genuine long-term warranty. The Daisy UltraDome and ThermoTech blankets hold heat better than budget imports, and their PowerRoll and standard roller systems are built to handle full sun year after year without the frame chalking or seizing.

Are pool covers worth it?+
Yes — in Brisbane a solar blanket typically pays itself back in the first summer through reduced water top-up, chemical use and heating cost.
Does a solar blanket really heat the pool?+
It does two things — captures solar energy during the day, and (more importantly) stops evaporative heat loss overnight. Expect 5–8°C warmer water in summer, and it makes any heater far more efficient in winter.
Do I need a roller?+
Not required, but strongly recommended. Blankets that get folded and dumped on the lawn last a fraction of the time and are a two-person job to move. A roller is a one-hand, 30-second operation.
