About our pool heaters service
Heat pumps are our most popular option. They run on standard 15A or 20A power, produce 4–6 kW of heat for every 1 kW of electricity, and hold a comfortable 28–30°C right through winter. Correctly sized, the running cost is a fraction of gas.
Gas heaters are the fastest option for spa or occasional-use pools — instant heat, but higher running cost. Ideal if you only want the pool warm for weekends and holidays.
Solar heating is a great add-on if you have a north-facing roof — cheap to run but weather-dependent. Many customers pair solar panels with a smaller heat pump for the best of both worlds.

How much does a heat pump cost to run?+
For a typical 40,000L Brisbane pool held at 28°C year-round, expect around $60–$120/month in winter and much less outside winter. A pool cover cuts that in half.
Do I need a pool cover with a heater?+
Strongly recommended. Uncovered pools lose up to 70% of their heat overnight through evaporation — a cover pays for itself very quickly.
Can you repair my existing heater?+
Yes — we service and repair all major heat pump and gas heater brands. Most common faults are flow switches, capacitors and control boards.
